What donthefilm.com is, what it covers and what it deliberately leaves out.
This is an independent information page about three Hindi films: Don (1978), the 2006 remake of the same name, and Don 2 (2011). It sets out what each film is, who made it, what the songs are and who performed them, how the story is built, and where the versions depart from one another.
The site is not official. It is not affiliated with and not endorsed by the makers, distributors, rights holders or performers of any film described here. Nothing on it is for sale, and it carries no viewing links, downloads or streaming information.
What is in scope
Cast, crew, songs, release years, plot, structure, staging and production design are factual matter about published films, and they belong here. Where published sources disagree on a credit or a figure, the entry prints both readings rather than choosing one.
What is out of scope
Nothing about the private lives, relationships, health, politics or finances of anyone involved appears on this site, and no quotation is invented. There are no ratings, rankings or best-of lists: the point of the site is the record, not a verdict on it.
